Terms of Use

These terms set out the rules that apply when you use the From Homeland website and services. By using the site, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.

This text is a draft. It must be completed and approved by a lawyer before publication. Fields in square brackets are still to be filled in.

Scope and definitions

These terms apply to all users of the From Homeland website and related services.

In these terms:

  • Platform: the From Homeland website and services operated by [company name]
  • Buyer: a person who browses projects on the platform and sends requests or appointment requests to developers
  • Developer: a construction company that publishes its projects on the platform, and the representatives who use an account on its behalf
  • User: any buyer, developer or visitor to the site

The platform’s role

From Homeland is a service where developers list their projects and buyers contact them directly.

  • We are not an estate agent or property broker.
  • We are not a party to any sale. The sale contract is made between the buyer and the developer.
  • We do not charge buyers any commission.
  • We review developers’ documents and projects before publication. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, prices or delivery.

You can find the details of our review process on the “How we verify” page.

Accounts

When you open an account, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Keep your password safe and do not share it with anyone. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • Each account belongs to one person. Developers should invite their team members so that each person uses their own account.
  • If you think your account has been used without permission, tell us immediately.

Our administrators may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Developer obligations

Developers who publish projects on the platform agree to:

  • Keep listings, apartment details and prices accurate and up to date
  • Hold a valid building permit and any other required permits
  • Respond to buyer requests within a reasonable time
  • Use buyers’ data only to handle the request concerned, not for any other purpose, and not pass it on to third parties
  • Comply with consumer law, in particular Law No. 6502
  • Take responsibility for the content and documents they upload

Buyer obligations

Buyers agree to:

  • Send requests and appointment requests out of genuine interest and with accurate information
  • Not send requests on someone else’s behalf without permission
  • Not send developers bulk, repetitive or advertising messages (spam)

Prohibited use

The following are prohibited on the platform:

  • Publishing false listings, prices or documents
  • Collecting data from the site in bulk with automated tools (scraping)
  • Attacking the site, its servers or other users
  • Trying to get around security measures, bot protection or rate limits
  • Harassing, threatening or misleading other users

Content that breaks these rules may be removed, the account concerned may be suspended and, where necessary, legal action may be taken.

Limits of liability and complaints

The developer who publishes a listing is responsible for its content and for any commitments relating to the sale. As From Homeland is not a party to the sale contract, it is not a party to disputes about delivery, payment or the contract either.

We aim to run the platform without interruptions or errors, but we cannot guarantee this. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

If you have a problem with a listing or a developer, use the “Report a problem” form on the project page or write to [email]. We review every report and, where necessary, unpublish the project or suspend the developer’s badge.

Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by Turkish law. The courts and enforcement offices of [city] have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumers’ statutory rights, in particular the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts, remain unaffected.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. If you continue to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
