Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. From Homeland uses cookies only as far as the site needs them to work. This page explains which cookies we use and why.

This text is a draft. It must be completed and approved by a lawyer before publication.

Strictly necessary cookies we use

Our site uses only strictly necessary cookies:

  • Session cookie: keeps you signed in. On the live site it is called __Host-fh_session; in the development environment it is called fh_session. It cannot be read by scripts in the browser (HttpOnly). It lasts 30 days or until you sign out.
  • Language preference cookie (fh_locale): remembers the language you chose. It is kept for about 1 year.

In addition, when you submit a form, the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check may process some technical data to confirm that a person sent the form.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not follow you across other websites, and we do not share cookie data with anyone for advertising.

Visit statistics without cookies

We count visits to the site without cookies. Your IP address is not stored.

Instead, we use an anonymous code that changes every day. It lets us count visits on the same day together. The next day it changes, and it cannot be traced back to you. Records are deleted after 400 days.

Managing cookies

You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings.

If you delete or block the session cookie, you will be signed out; you need it to sign in. If you delete the language cookie, the site may open in the default language.
